Jordan Steele

On-Camera Meteorologist, Co-Host Pattrn, Co-Host America's Morning Headquarters

Jordan Steele is an award-winning on-camera meteorologist who joined The Weather Channel in early 2020. He helped introduce a new format called QUIBI and now works with the AMHQ team.

Jordan comes to The Weather Channel with his West-Coast roots, highlighting his passion for outdoor life, approachable vibe and healthy lifestyle. His last stop was in Seattle, WA where he worked for KING 5 Television and won an Emmy for Best Weathercaster for the Northwest region. Prior to that he worked in Austin, TX, chasing storms and keeping people safe in Flash Flood Alley. He has also worked in Eugene, OR, and the Tri-Cities in Washington State.

Jordan has three children - boy/girl twins and a young son with Down syndrome. Since the birth of his son, he has proudly accepted his new role of being a Down syndrome advocate, highlighting inclusion and acceptance for all. Jordan married his high school sweetheart from San Diego, CA where they both grew up. They are beyond thrilled to be raising their children in Georgia.

Here are a few fun facts about Jordan: he's an avid hunter and fisherman. He won a trip to Portugal on The Price Is Right and got to high-five the host, Bob Barker. He once interviewed Tony Robbins – and is a huge fan. He has hung out with Matthew McConaughey and was told he is a “cool guy” by the ultimate cool guy himself, LL Cool J.
