Bone Up On Your Survival Skills Thanksgiving Weekend with “Survive the Feast” Marathon on The Weather Channel

Kicking Off November 27, Three-Day Marathon Features Back-to-Back Episodes of Original Primetime Series “So You Think You’d Survive,” “Fat Guys in the Woods,” and “Highway through Hell”

This Thanksgiving weekend, The Weather Channel loads up on episodes of viewers’ favorite original series, including “So You Think You’d Survive,” “Fat Guys in the Woods,” and “Highway through Hell” in a three-day “Survive the Feast” marathon.

Thursday, November 27
Give thanks for not finding yourself in any of the situations featured in episodes of “So You Think You’d Survive?” Learn what to do and what not to do during weather-related emergencies by exploring the choices people make when Mother Nature wreaks havoc on them. What should you do when your car is overtaken by flood waters? What do you do when you realize you’re in a tornado’s path? The series explores these sometimes life-and-death situations and offers survival solutions to even the worst-case scenarios. “So You Think You’d Survive?” (Formerly “Now What?” is executive produced by Phil Gurin (“Shark Tank”).

Friday, November 28
As people brave the malls on Black Friday, kick back and pick up new survival skills with “Fat Guys in the Woods.” In every episode, survival expert Creek Stewart brings three average Joes out to the woods to survive for a week with only one objective: to teach them the skills that make a man, a man. From searching for a water source and building insulated shelters made with pine needles and moss, to catching a meal with their bare hands or foraging for the few foods left unscathed by Mother Nature's frigid touch, these guys learn skills they’d never thought they need, and many come away inspired to make some major life changes. Season 2 premieres June 2015.

Saturday, November 29
Catch up on Season 2 of “Highway Thru Hell” and watch the men of Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue get pushed to their breaking point as they fight to keep the roads open on some of the most economically important and most travelled routes in North America. When the highway shuts down, it’s up to this crew to get the roads open as fast as possible, saving jackknifed semis and performing death-defying cliff rescues. Season 3 premieres Sunday, December 7 at 10 p.m. ET.
