On-Camera Meteorologist, Local Now
Marquise Meda joined the Local Now team in 2021, after working as an on-camera meteorologist for WNCT in Greenville, NC.
His passion for meteorology was sparked in the summer of 2005, which was one of the largest Atlantic Hurricane seasons. He went on to follow that interest into college at the University of Massachusetts, and eventually the military, where he served as a Combat Weather Forecaster in the United States Air Force.
Throughout his career as a broadcast meteorologist and forecaster in the Air Force, Marquise has covered nearly every type of weather imaginable. He has been through Nor'easters, tornadoes, and even sandstorms in the Middle-East. With Local Now, Marquise continues to provide daily weather coverage across the country by giving detailed forecasts to tailored communities and their surrounding regions.
